1.83 lakh from the bank's dilapidated drawer and four gangsters escaped

At the Central Bank of India's Jayaraj Plot branch in the city this morning, four arthritic bank employees, who had gone into a trance under the guise of a customer, snatched Rs 1.5 lakh from a cashier's drawer and fled, leaving the bank staff in a state of panic. All four arthritis sufferers have been captured on CCTV. Based on which, the A-Division police is now trying to get the identity.
This morning, the cashier of the bank, Sangeetaben Kishorebhai Chavda, left his table and went to the washroom. Returning from there, I saw that the cash was missing from the open drawer of the table.
Dharmaraj Singh, the bank's chief manager, was immediately informed of the fact. Due to which the staff of the bank was horrified. Immediately checking the bank's CCTV cameras, four arthritis was found in it.
After the four gangsters got into the confusion of a customer in the bank, one gangster got into a conversation with the bank officer. While the other two arthritics started wandering around the bank looking for opportunities. The fourth gangster in charge went to the cashier's counter and sat on the sofa.
Seeing the cashier Sangeetaben going to the washroom, the four gangsters got into action and after informing each other with gestures, one gangster went inside the cashier table and snatched the bundles of cash. This time another arthritic was standing across the table.
Thus, within minutes of the count, all four gangsters fled with Rs 1.5 lakh in cash. In addition to the A-Division police, crime branch staff rushed to the bank and are investigating with the help of CCTV footage, bank officials said.
Police said one was wearing a khaki sweater, another was wearing a blue jacket and a third was wearing a gray sweater. The white day robbery at the bank has also raised questions about the negligence of the bank's staff. The bank also has no security guards, police said.
