Rajkot: A 17-year-old girl named Dhruva Hirenbhai Joshi, who lives in Shitla Colony near Bapa Sitaram's Madhi in Kalawad taluka of Jamnagar district and is studying for a diploma, lives in Bhuj. According to police, James' mama Prashant Barot Kalawad lives in Bhuj and works in a pan parlor. So when James Kalavad leaves, his acquaintance with Dhruva, who lives there, and then the two fall in love.

Two days ago, James left home to go to his mother's house. While Dhruva left home yesterday morning to go to Rajkot AVPT as per routine. Dhruva also arrived at the hotel shortly after Navek arrived at the hotel Nova around noon yesterday. Both gave their Aadhaar cards. Room number 301 was allotted to both of them after the formalities including signing in the register. After an argument broke out between the two in the room for whatever reason, James became enraged and killed Dhruva after giving him a hug with the locket he had brought with him. Police estimate that the murder took place between 10 and 10.30 in the morning, just an hour after the two went to their hotel rooms.

After the murder, James was sitting next to his girlfriend's body. In the evening, he called his friend and told him that it was the girl's mater, he needed acid to clean the blood and his friend gave him acid.
