Porbandar: A young man from Advana was brutally murdered in the year 2021 at Modhwada village. In this case of murder due to molestation, the accused has been sentenced to ten years rigorous imprisonment.

The details of the incident were that on October 3, 2021, Arvind Megha Vaghela of Advana had taken a bike to go to Modhwada village and someone hit him on the left side of the skull with a long and deep wound of a sharp weapon and in this case Govind Megha Vaghela was stabbed by an unknown person of his brother Arvind. A case of brutal murder by wounding with a weapon was registered.

In this incident, which was investigated by the police at that time, it was revealed that Arvind, who was going to die, had molested Bhiniben alias Beniben Lakhu alias Kalo Tapu Vaghela of Modhwada village. Arvind Megha Vaghela, husband Lakhu alias Kalo Tapu Vaghela of the woman who was the victim of this rape, ran after her with an ax and his wife Bhini alias Beniben also came chasing with him. Bhini alias Beni Lakhu Vaghela held Arvind near Meher Samaj in Modhwada village and Bhini's husband Lakhu alias Kalo killed him by stabbing him on the head with an iron axe, hence the police arrested Lakhu and his wife Bhiniben for the crime of murder including violation of Armistice Proclamation.

In this work, about 36 documentary evidences and a total of 21 testimonies were examined by Public Prosecutor Sudhirsingh Jethwa on behalf of the prosecution and strong arguments were made on behalf of the government. Pursuant to which the court, after hearing the oral and documentary evidence presented in the above case and hearing the arguments of both sides, the accused Lakhu alias Kalo Tapubhai Vaghela has been found guilty of the crime and sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs.25,000.
