Jamnagar: A rickshaw puller living in Ranuja village of Kalavad taluk lost Rs 4.60 lakh to the lure of marriage. After a police complaint was filed, the search for the bride robber is on, while three other accused have been arrested and remanded by the police. Cash amount of 70 thousand has been seized from them.
A 30-year-old rickshaw puller named Chetan Sindhabhai Makwana, living in Ranuja village of Kalavad taluk of Jamnagar district, and driving a rickshaw, lured a 30-year-old rickshaw puller named Makwana into marriage with him and cheated a robber bride of 4.60 lakhs. And filed a complaint against Kanabhai Bambhawa and Dudabhai Toyota who stole the money by giving the identity of the bride's brother.
After the complaint, the Kalavd Town Police has arrested three accused, Babubhai Gamara, Kanabhai Bambhawa and Dudabhai Toyota, apart from the robber bride, and produced them before the court and remanded them on two-day remand. A cash amount of 70,000 has been seized from them, while the search is on for the robber bride as she is absconding.
