Suspicion that drugs were supplied from Pakistan


Rajkot: Devbhumi Dwarka police have seized crores of rupees worth of heroin and MD drugs by sea. Police estimate that this amount of drugs may have come from Pakistan. As Salaya's two brothers ordered the consignment of drugs, the inquiries of both will reveal the suppliers.

Devbhumi is close to the border and coastal area of ​​Dwarka district in Pakistan. In this situation, the security of more than 50 bats in Dwarka district was enhanced some time ago. Not only that, the security at the landing point was tightened. A network of informants was also set up.

Police officials say a large quantity of drugs was seized as a result of the recent exercise. Not only Dwarka but also the security of Jamnagar and Navlakhi ports has recently been beefed up. Due to which drugs or any weapons cannot enter the border of India.

Since Salaya and her brother Yakub had ordered the consignment of drugs, a close interrogation of the two would reveal where the actual quantity of drugs came from, police officials said. Further investigation will also reveal the price at which these two brothers sold 15 packets of drugs to Sajjad in Mumbai.

Police officials said that the three packets of drugs recovered from Salim and Ali of Salaya are currently under investigation. The proceedings will continue till late at night. Only then will it be clear how much the drugs really cost. However, at present, the cost of drugs is estimated at between Rs 50 crore and Rs 200 crore.
