
Corporators demand removal of non-veg cab lorries in Jamnagar
Rajkot: In the cities of Saurashtra where most of the people are vegetarians, the illegal sale of meat, including eggs and mutton, in their lattes without permission is on the rise. After Rajkot, action orders have been issued in Jamnagar, Junagadh and also in cities of Gujarat including Vadodara to remove unauthorized non-wagon lorries, cabs.
Forty years after egg and mutton lorries began to throb in the Rajkot area, forcing people to move around in the SBI area next to the choke SBI. In addition, lorries around Shastri Maidan, the main thoroughfare of people who have places of worship including private bus stop, Panchnath Mahadev Temple, were also removed which has started inside the grounds occupied by the Collectorate after the lorries. According to Manpa sources, lorries or cabs which are not frequented in the area where most of the non-veg people live are not removed and no such notice has been given. But, this problem will not be allowed to run on the main roads.
