Rajkot: Rs. Rs. A complaint has been lodged at the Kuwadwa Road police station alleging that 1487 gas cylinders worth Rs 14.87 lakh were seized through fraud. The deputy general manager of the plant, Balaraju Marapaka, a native of Telangana and currently residing in the cozy yard on Mwdi Road, has lodged a complaint. In which it is said that at present the security contract of its plant is with a security agency named Krishnachand Upadhyay of Ahmedabad. Earlier, the security contract was with RN Gupta Agency, Ahmedabad. Who left the contract in the meantime and hired a new contractor. The plant has an arrangement whereby the security guard under the guidance of the security supervisor calculates the quantity of cylinders of the oncoming vehicles as per the bill. Clearance is then given. The stock is calculated every month from the company. Looking at the last audit report dated 31-07-2021, no reduction of cylinder was noticed.

After he took charge from last date 6-8-2021. A total of 1487 cylinders were deducted from the stock count till 31-08-2021. Whose responsibility is security. So that a crime has been registered against an unknown security guard, truck driver etc. Investigating Kuwadwa Road police said they would get information on who was actually involved in the scam out of the three security guards now at the plant. The scam has been going on for the last two to three years. But it is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
