Earthquake of magnitude 2.8 felt in Saurashtra again, Amreli

Kutch and Saurashtra in Gujarat experience frequent earthquakes. Earthquake has occurred in Saurashtra again today. An earthquake of magnitude 2.8 was felt in Amreli around 11 am. Feeling the shock of the earthquake, people rushed out of the house. Apart from that, along with Mitiyala, earthquake shock was also felt in Khambha Gir Panthak. There was a panic among the locals who felt the shock of the earthquake in Bhad, Nanadi, Nana Visavdar, Vankia villages of Khambha Gir. However, as the intensity of the earthquake is not high, there is no possibility of any loss of life or damage. Epicenter is recorded 44 km from Amreli.

An earthquake struck Surat at 1 pm on February 10
Earthquake tremors were also felt in Surat late on 10th February. People rushed out of their houses after feeling the shock of the earthquake late at night. The magnitude of the earthquake in Surat was measured at 3.8 on the Richter scale. While the epicenter was recorded at sea 27 km from Surat.

Earthquake shock in Amreli district on 4th and 5th February
An earthquake was felt in Amreli district late at night on February 5. Earthquake shock was felt in Mitiala, Savarkundla, Barda, Surajwadi of Amreli district. Apart from that, on February 9th, an earthquake struck again in Kutch at 1:45 PM. A magnitude of 3.0 has been recorded on the Richter scale. While its epicenter is found to be 19 km away from Dudhai.

An earthquake hit Bhachau on January 11 as well
Earthquake tremors were felt in Bhachau, Kutch at 10.57 am on 11th January. People ran out of their houses when the magnitude 2.9 earthquake struck. The epicenter of the earthquake was found to be 16 km from Bhachau.

Earthquake tremors in Banaskantha on 10 December
