Porbandar, : A young man working as a carpenter has filed a police complaint against a friend during the Corona period in Ranawav who cheated him of half a crore and stole cash, jewellery, cars, flats etc. It is said that if I file a police complaint, I will be framed in a false complaint of interest.

A 42-year-old man named Girdhar Jethabhai Pankhaniya, who lives in Ashapura Chowk opposite Swaminarayan Temple in Ranavav village and works as a carpenter, has lodged a complaint that Yunusbhai Kasambahai Sati along with his family had come to live in a rented house in his neighborhood for the last seven-eight years. He had a close relationship with Yunusbhai's family and both the families used to come to each other's house frequently. When Girdharbhai got Corona in the year 2021, he fell very ill. At that time, the neighbor Yunusbhai Kasambhai Sati took Girdharbhai to the hospital for treatment in his car. And Yunusbhai took great care of him when he was sick, so that they became close friends and Yunusbhai made Girdhar's wife Pragya his sister.

Then after two or three months Yunusbhai and his wife Reshmaben came to our house and said that we are in dire need of money. In any case, give us three lakh rupees, our four-wheeler will be distributed, so we will return the rupees to you. So I gave three lakh rupees to Yunusbhai and I did not return the money that Yunusbhai took from me and at different times in the last one and a half years, Yunusbhai took me into confidence and gave me a total of Rs. 14,50,000 was borrowed from me.

The complainant has said that while I repeatedly told Yunusbhai to return my money, Yunusbhai said that I am not in a position to give money now, I am deeply in debt and it will be my turn to leave the village, I still owe a lot of taxes so I have to pay a lot of money. If there is a need, if you have money, give it to me, saying that, he gave a total of twenty one tolas of gold jewelry to Yunusbhai. Later, Yunusbhai received Rs. 12,50,000 loan from Bank of Baroda Porbandar branch. And for the car, a loan was taken in the name of the complainant.

Later, a further loan of 2,95,700 was made in my name from the Central Bank of Ranawav. The loan money was given to Yunusbhai. After that, I started getting notices from the bank to repay the loan installments because I didn't have the money so I didn't pay the loan installments and while telling Yunus to pay, Yunusbhai started cursing me as much as he could and started saying, I will trap you in a false complaint of interest and you He started threatening me that he will kill you and your family if you file a complaint against me in the police and this Yunusbhai has even moved to another place from my neighborhood and has stopped answering my calls. So Girdharbhai Pankhaniya spent around Rs. 50,50,000 fraud and treachery, making false accusations and threatening to kill me and my family have lodged a standard complaint against Yunusbhai Kasambhai Sati and further investigation has been conducted by the Ranawav police.
