13.70 lakh cheated with Khirsara farmer by luring him to give good price of cotton

Rajkot's gene owner also cheated in Maliya Panthak

Another complaint against the owner of Siddhanath Cotex and Spinning Mill on Chotila-Than Road who cheated many farmers.

Morbi: A complaint has been lodged with the Chotila police against the owners of Siddhanath Kotex and Spinning Mill (Gin) located on Chotila-Than road, after luring the farmers of other districts besides Chotila to give high price of cotton, buying cotton and not paying the amount of crores and locking the gin. A complaint has been lodged with the Malia police that one of the owners of this gin mill had also cheated a farmer of Khirsara village of Maliaminyana by grabbing 846 maunds of cotton and defrauding him of 13.70 lakhs without paying the amount.

Vijaybhai Chhaganbhai Khandekha (aged 41), a resident of Khirsara village, has filed a complaint against the accused Suresh Govindbhai Lungaria (resident of Rajkot Nana Mawa Road Raj Residency). In which it is said that he told his brother-in-law Palabhai Gogra (Rest. Rajkot) that if the price of cotton is good in the market, then we have cotton. So he will talk to Sureshbhai Govindbhai Patel and tell you. That was said.

A few days later Vewai Samlabhai got a call that Suresh Patel is near your village. Show me your cotton. Will tell the price later. Showing cotton to Suresh Patel, the current market price per maund is Rs. 1400 runs. So they refused to give cotton at this price. And fill all the cotton for now. I will give the price when you say it will be the market price. It was said that so that the cotton does not spoil. A total of 846 maunds of cotton was given to two vehicles for that.

A month and a half ago from today Vewai went to Sureshbhai Patel's mill along with Samlabhai while raising the cotton market. And asking about the price of cotton and asking about the market price, he asked to wait for a while saying that the market is 1620-1630 and asked to give it at 1700 rupees. Later, due to the need of rupees, it was sold again and took Sureshbhai's mill to Siddhanath Kotex Pvt. Lee. Went to Thangarh Road Chotila. Where the office in the mill was locked and no one was present, Sureshbhai Govindbhai Lunasaria (Rest. Rajkot) was found to be going somewhere after locking the mill. Thus, 846 maunds of cotton were seized and a complaint was filed for cheating by not paying 13.70 lakhs. Maliya police have registered a case and are investigating.
