Police complaint against three trustees residing in Jamnagar for negligence

Jamkhambhaliya: A month and a half ago, some cows died tragically in the Kaniyadham cowshed near Dwarka. In the investigation of the cow servants who came here, it was revealed that the deaths of cows, bulls and calves at this place were due to the negligence of the managers, trustees and due to starvation. A standard complaint has been registered against three trustees of this cowshed living at Jamnagar in the Dwarka police station last night regarding this entire chapter.

A complaint has been lodged at the Dwarka police station by Hadakbhai Shaileshbhai Vyda, who lives near Mandir Chowk, Muralidhar Township in Dwarka and is involved in gauseva activities, against Vijaybhai Bhogayata, Sanjaybhai Bhogayata and Nagabhai Madam, who live at Jamnagar and work as trustees of Kaniyadham Annakshetra Gaushal. According to which there were about 90 to 95 cows, Nandi and calves in the Kaniyadham Annakshetra cowshed. About 10 of these cows, Nandi, died on July 25 last. The matter was brought to the notice of Vijaybhai, the trustee of the cowshed, by Harabhambha Ker, a local resident, and the matter was brought to his attention. But no concrete action was taken by them. After this four other calves also died at this place.

Regarding this incident, the note regarding the postmortem done by the animal doctor of Nandi, the cow that died and A.D.I.O. According to the opinion given by the Laboratory Department - Jamnagar, the cause of death and death of cattle was said to be starvation. Apart from this, the physical condition of other cows was also seen to be very pathetic due to lack of food and drink.

It was also noticed by the gausevaks that some cows had become weak due to lack of fodder. In this way, a total of 14 cows and bulls died due to the negligence of the trustees of Kaniyadham cowshed. While some other cows were emaciated. Due to which it became useless. Regarding this whole episode, the Dwarka police registered a case against the trustees of Kaniyadham Gaushala under Section 325 of the Indian Judicial Code and Animal Cruelty Act and took further action.
