Rajkot, : Saturday dt. Dated from the day of Ganesh Chaturthi on September 7. Today, Rajkot Police Commissioner Brijesh Jha has issued a proclamation in this regard while preparations are being made for the public Ganesha festival at more than five thousand places in Saurashtra for 11 days till 17. In this announcement released in the last few days, no specifics have been made regarding the height of the idol or the statue of P.O.P., but rules have been put in place including removing necklaces, flowers, clothes, decorations etc. and using synthetic liners before the immersion.

Dt. 7 means tomorrow from 12 midnight. According to the notification, which will be valid till 12 midnight on 18th, (1) prior approval will be required for Ganesh immersion procession (2) 3 near Aji Dam overflow, near Nyarana Patia near Paam village, Kalavad Road below pool after Wagudad Patia, Ravivari market ground near Aji Dam Discharge can be done at any of these 7 places (3) Synthetic liner (cloth) should be arranged in ponds, mines, rivers at the place of discharge and after 48 hours (two days) of discharge, it should be taken out and alum should be placed (4) During the discharge journey, Color may not be splashed on passing pedestrians, people (5) Sound pollution control, i.e. ban on noise, shall be taken care of at the place of Ganeshotsav. Keeping the volume down. (6) Mandap shall not be kept for more than one day after Ganesh Visarman. (7) Discharged idol shall not be taken out by any person (8) Rules have been issued to maintain religious sentiment, good faith and to ensure that traffic on public roads is not obstructed.
