Dwarka: 60 years ago today, Pakistan targeted the Jagatmandir of Dwarka on the day of Vaman Jayanti and fired 156 bombs at night with the intention of destroying the temple. But the savior of the world, Shri Dwarkadhishji protected his place, the temple and the entire city of Dwarka. Since then, this auspicious day is celebrated as a huge victory day to thank Lord Shri Dwarkadhish. On this occasion, special worship will be done here. In addition, on the occasion of today's Vamandvadashi, Lord Dwarkadhish takes the form of Vamanji, the fifth incarnation of Vamanji or Dasha avatar in Jagatmandir.

In AD 1965, the sea coast of Dwarka was guarded by Pakistan with the intention of destroying the Dwarkadhish temple by the Pakistan Navy, but later at night the Pakistan Navy bombarded the city of Dwarka with malicious intent and dropped 156 bombs on the city of Dwarka. But not a single bomb was detonated due to the reservation of Lord Dwarkadhish. And since Jagat Mandir and Dwarka city have been saved, a special aarti of God is performed in Dwarkadhish temple every year to celebrate the great victory day.

According to a myth, Vaman Lord broke the pride of King Bali, similarly Lord Dwarkadhi broke the pride of Pakistan. Even today, the relics of this Bomb Mara are kept in the museum of the Sanskuta Academy Dwarka. Sriji's Mangala Aarti will be held at 6:30 am on Vaman Virat day. Also Anousar Darshan will be closed from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Also, Sriji's special Vaman Utsav Aarti will be held at 12 PM, after which Darshan will be open till 1:30 PM. The temple will remain closed till 5:00 PM. Also, Sriji's evening sequence will be regular. Since 1965, the entire Guggali Brahmo Samaj has hoisted a new flag to Lord Dwarkadhish on the day of Vaman Dwadashi festival. Also Vishnu Saha is recited by Brahmins.
