Bad Roads In Gujarat: Girnar has had power problems for years. The power minister e-launched the Rs 7.92 crore project to increase the capacity of overhead power lines and convert them underground to solve the power problem. The Energy Minister personally came to Junagadh in this program. But due to bad roads from Gandhinagar to Junagadh, Energy Minister Kanubhai Desai reached Junagadh early in the morning by train. Later he reached Amreli by road from Junagadh and went to Surat by plane.

State and National Highways are also in worse condition

The condition of roads is so bad that motorists are stranded. Village roads are fine but state and national highways have also deteriorated. Kanubhai Desai, Cabinet Minister for Finance, Energy and Petrochemicals of the Government of Gujarat, came to the event in Junagadh by train to avoid the bad roads.

He reached Surat by plane from Amreli. A good example of the difficulty caused by bad roads can be seen from the minister's journey.
