Rajkot: Today after a long time in half a dozen cities of the state including Morbi, Mitana, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Himmatnagar, 70 teams of high officials of the Income Tax Department are carrying out investigations at about 30 places of different firms connected with industries including builder, coal, paper. There was a flurry of sentiment across all the major industry groups. It was revealed that unaccounted transactions worth crores of rupees were caught as the investigation was carried out by a team of Income Tax officials till late night.
