Later the program started in which the speakers narrated the development story of BJP. This time while the speech was being delivered in Hindi, the workers got up from the meeting and started walking. Rajkot senior BJP leader Vajubhai Wala, former governor of Karnataka, whose name was not mentioned in the invitation card, avoided attending the get-together and left for Bhavnagar to attend an event. While Rajkot (East) MLA and Transport Minister Arvind Raiani, who was named as the chief guest in the invitation card, was also not present at the BJP's Sneha Milan in his hometown.

The event, which was held at a party plot on Ring Road, also saw blatant violations of the rules, including the number limit of 500, masks and distances, while activists set off fireworks before the event.

BJP sources said that the program will be held in his presence in Rajkot on the 20th, now that the program to be held in his presence will be considered as another affectionate reunion. Both Kundaria and Mokria MPs were later persuaded to attend the event and both attended.
