Change in Rajkot bar, 11 wins of pro-BJP group but lost in the presidency

Lawyers are the main political leaders, so politics in the bar is instinctive.

Rajkot: In Rajkot, the BJP and the Congress have been the main advocates in the Congress, while the bar of the lawyers' association is the color of politics. In yesterday's election, a group of lawyers working for the BJP barely escaped, but the result was like a lion's share. The group won 11 of the 12 seats, but lost to the Samras panel in the original presidency. So today the candidate of the genius panel has lost in a recount of one seat.

According to sources in the Samaras panel, a recount was sought this morning in protest of the preliminary picture that Dharmesh Sakhiya, a candidate for the post of Joint Secretary, was defeated by only 4 votes in last night's recount. With this, out of total 17 seats, 11 candidates have won in the pro-BJP Samaras panel and 9 in the Genius panel.

A huge propaganda war erupted in the name of Samras and Genius Panel after the BJP's Samras panel, which is dominated by lawyers working on election campaigns, failed to hold a Samras election by persuading the lawyers who were with them. Offices were opened and leaders, including MLAs and MPs, joined.

The two groups of pro-BJP lawyers are at loggerheads, but the voting lawyers voted for such a panel without seeing the panel, believing that it would be in the Legislative Assembly, Manpani elections, not in the election of lawyers. Due to which Dilip Patel-Bhardwaj's Samras panel got majority but the original presidential candidate has been allotted.

It may be mentioned that in the past era in Rajkot, most of the BJP leaders including late Chimanbhai Shukla, Manohar Singh Jadeja and now active BJP Vajubhai Wala and Congress leaders including city president Ashok Dangar, Jaswant Singh Bhatti, Ashok Singh Vaghela have been lawyers by profession.
