CP's refusal to guarantee 6 months exemption from declaration

Association officials said CP has granted exemption to private luxury bus entry on 150 feet ring road, CP said exemption will be given subject to conditions

Rajkot, : After banning the entry of private luxury buses on the 150 feet ring road from Rajkot's Madhapar Chowk to Punitnagar water tank, the officials of the Private Luxury Bus Association held a meeting with the Commissioner of Police along with the BJP leaders today. After which said that the Commissioner of Police has assured to postpone the announcement for six months. While the police commissioner flatly denied it. Due to which a controversy has arisen.

Following this announcement, the officials of the private luxury bus association rushed to the BJP leaders. who requested the Commissioner of Police to find a middle way. Following this, the Police Commissioner announced a three-hour exemption for private luxury buses from 2 pm to 5 pm. But since the officials of the private luxury bus association did not agree with it, they had a meeting with the police commissioner today.

City BJP president, one MLA and three general ministers of BJP were also present in the meeting. After the meeting, Dashrath Singh Vala, president of the Private Luxury Bus Association, said that the Police Commissioner has assured exemption from the notification for 6 months. Due to which a wave of happiness has spread among the officials of the association.

On the other hand, City Police Commissioner Raju Bhargava said that no decision has been taken yet to grant exemption from notification for 6 months. In the meeting, two conditions were placed before the officials of the Private Luxury Bus Association. It was asked to provide information about where the buses will be parked and also the pickup and drop times. After receiving written assurance in this regard, a decision will be taken whether to grant exemption for 6 months.

Officials of private luxury bus associations had initially proposed exemption from notification for two years. He said that he would move his offices elsewhere during that time. But that demand was not accepted as the time was more than two years. Demand for six months exemption will also be accepted subject to conditions. Not only this, the notification will not be canceled under any circumstances.
