Heavy Rain In Porbandar: It is raining heavily in Saurashtra. 19 villages of Ghed Panthak of Porbandar have been kept on high alert due to heavy rains. When Bhadar 2 Dam near Dhoraji gets 100 percent full, its water flows into Ghed Panthak. Due to which the villagers have been alerted by the system.

21 villages of Morbi have been alerted

Meghraja has batted strongly in Morbi district as well. A gate of Machhu 3 dam has been opened by one more foot following heavy rains. So far water is being released from the dam by opening a gate of two feet. At present Macchu Dam has an outflow of 1674 cusecs against an inflow of 1255 cusecs. So 21 villages of Morbi and Malia Miana Taluka have been alerted.

Ramtalia river flooded

Heavy rain with wind has started in Rajula, Jafarabad, Khambha of Amreli since early morning today. It is raining heavily in villages including Rajulana Dungar, Morangi, Mandal, Victor, Kumbharia, Devka. Ramtalia river in Morangi village has flooded due to rain.

Megharaja water bombed Saurashtra

Apart from this, there has been heavy rain in Devbhumi Dwarka district, including 10 inches in Yatradham Dwarka. In Rajkot district, especially Dhoraji, Upleta, Jetpur, Gondal Panthkama, 8 inches of torrential rain fell. Meghraja showered the entire Saurashtra with one inch of rain around Rajkot city and extensive one to four inches in Jamnagar district, three to four inches in districts including Morbi, Tankara, and up to 3 inches in Amreli district on Monday.

Heavy to very heavy rain forecast
