Cyclone hit the roof, media box in Khanderi Stadium

- Roofs of hotel-huts flew from Khandheri to Paddhari
- Saurashtra-Haryana crossing canceled due to rain
Rajkot: The roof and glass panes of the stadium of Saurashtra Cricket Association were broken due to the cyclone that blew near Khanderi near Rajkot this morning. Due to this, the Cooch Behari Trophy match has to be cancelled. While there are reports of hoardings-boards, roofs of huts blowing away due to stormy winds on Jamnagar highway up to Paddhari.
According to the Satawar sources of the Cricket Association, the glass panes of the media box, TV, furniture have been broken in the Khanderi Stadium due to a sudden unseasonal storm this morning. Apart from this, the roofs placed over the seating arrangement for the audience were in the air. The field panel has been damaged at several places. The iron shutters were also twisted due to the cyclone. Hordigs, the chair was broken.
Saurashtra-Haryana was the real match of Cooch Behari Trophy today at Khanderi Stadium. Today, on the last day, due to sudden rain, the match has to be canceled.
As the wind speed was high from Rajkot to Padhari, hoardings-boards, roofs of hotels and huts on the Jamnagar highway were blown away.
