'You have to melt your ego or else...', Dhanani slams BJP with 'poetry' amid Rupala controversy
Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Political atmosphere is heating up in Rajkot Lok Sabha seat. Najar Kshatriya Samaj is demanding cancellation of his candidature due to the controversial statement of BJP candidate Parshottam Rupala on this seat. On the other hand, Congress has fielded Paresh Dhanani from here. Who is making fun of BJP and Rupala through his poems. Then again he wrote a poem on the social media platform 'X' saying, 'O Bhishmapitamah of BJP, now do you want to melt your ego or then show me Delhi?'
Paresh Dhanani took a dig at BJP
Congress candidate Paresh Dhanani yesterday posted a video of the Kshatriya convention held in Ratanpar, Rajkot on 'X' and wrote, "O Bhishmapitamah of BJP, do you want to melt your ego or else I want to see Delhi, if the ego does not melt by the 16th, then at four o'clock in the afternoon I will bow down at Kuldevi's door." We will fight the war of self-respect.'
A general meeting of the Kshatriya Samaj was held
The ongoing movement of Kshatriyas across the state has now reached a critical stage with their demand to cut the ticket of Rajkot BJP candidate Parshottam Rupala. A grand convention of Kshatriyas was held at Ratanpar in Rajkot yesterday. In which Kshatriyas arrived from every district of Gujarat and also from states including Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh. Raj Shekhawat and Mahipal Singh Makrana were present in the general meeting of the Kshatriya Samaj along with the royals of Gujarat. About 15 leaders of the Kshatriya community addressed the meeting. In which the speakers in one tone challenged the BJP and gave an ultimatum to cancel Rupala's ticket by 19th.
It is worth mentioning that Parshottam Rupala will fill his candidature form on April 16 amid the controversy. Before this, he will address a large gathering at Bahumali Bhavan.
