Another 7 inches of rain in Dwarka district amid overall cloud break in Saurashtra

(two and a half inches) of water is reported to have fallen. Along with this, the total rainfall of the season in Dwarka is 2137 mm. (85 in.) with 356 percent, 2159 mm in span. (87 inches) with 243 per cent, 1949 mm in Kalyanpur taluk. (78 inches) with 218 percent and 1424 mm in width. (57 inches) of the total average rainfall has fallen by 190 percent. Thus, a torrential rain-like situation has been created in the district with 245 percent of the total average rainfall.

Dhoraji and Jetpur of Rajkot district received two inches of rain at four o'clock this morning. While two inches of rain fell in Lodhika and Bhensan today. Jamnagar district received moderate rain till this afternoon. In which one more inch was recorded in Jamnagar and one inch in Jamjodhpur today and two inches last night together with three inches of rain. Ghogha, Kotda Sangani received an inch of rain and Gondal, Dhrol, Khabha, Talaja, Visavdar, Jasani, Tankara, Jamkandorana and Rajula were mostly cloudy except for half an inch of rain.

Even in Junagadh district, Meghraja's grace was raining today. From last night till this evening two and a half inches in Bhensan and Vanthali and Manavadar Panthak, Junagadh, one and a half in Visavdar and Malia Hati Panthak, one and a half inch in Mendara and half an inch in Keshod and rain shower in Mangrol.

Due to heavy rains in Saurashtra including Rajkot, there was blackout in 738 villages today for the fourth day. A total of 1851 feeders went into fault, including 1514 in agriculture. In the industrial areas where 64 feeders of GIDC and industrial areas were closed during this day, 452 people of Jamnagar, 350 of Rajkot Gramya, 265 of Morbi, 289 of Surendranagar, 155 of Junagadh suffered a total of 1963 power pole damage during this day.
