In the General Board of Rajkot Municipal Corporation, the opposition questioned the corporation and it was found that 20 kg of fodder is fed to large animals like horses, cows, bullocks and 10 kg of fodder per day to small animals such as calves, padi, goats. On the other hand, Rs 50 per animal per day for large animals and Rs 35 per animal per day for small animals are paid by the Municipal Corporation to the Jivdaya Trust for animal maintenance expenses, but many questions are being raised due to the large number of animals dying.
